Minis & Company is based in Savannah and manages investments for clients nationwide. We serve our clients, whether they are individuals, trusts, families or institutions, by tailoring investment portfolios to meet their specific financial needs.

We are committed to providing every client the highest level of service. This focus has allowed us to successfully retain and consistently grow our client base and assets under management. We currently manage balanced, all-equity and fixed income accounts for our clients including individuals, corporations, pension and profit sharing plans, trusts and charitable organizations.

Mission

At Minis & Company, our mission is to produce long-term growth of capital, while limiting risk and volatility. We accomplish this by tailoring investment portfolios to meet our clients’ unique financial needs while maintaining a commitment to providing the highest level of service.

History

Minis & Company traces its history through a predecessor organization back to 1932. The firm became a wholly owned subsidiary company of The Savannah Bancorp in 2007, carrying with it the predecessor organization’s reputation for strong performance in tough market conditions. In December 2012, Minis & Company became a wholly owned subsidiary of SouthState Bank, and in January 2019 became a doing-business-as of SouthState Advisory which is also a wholly-owned subsidiary of SouthState Bank.

A strong focus on client service has allowed the company to successfully retain and consistently grow our client base. Income is derived solely from fees paid by clients for investment management services.
